Emergency and Temporary Orders

If you have an emergency, and need to get into court fast to protect yourself, your children, and/or your property, or if you anticipate that the other party will contest or delay the proceedings, you may wish to file a motion.  If you are the “moving party,” services include;

Draft initial pleadings required for filing your motion (Notice of Hearing, Motion, your declaration and supporting declarations, Parenting Plan, Child Support Worksheet, Financial Declaration, proposed temporary orders)

Draft “strict reply declaration” in response to the other party’s response

Provide advice and assistance with filing motion, serving other party, delivering working copies, confirming hearing, and explaining deadlines

Additional services may be added at additional charge for attending your hearing to provide support and memorializing the ruling in the orders

 

If you are the “responding party,” services include drafting your declaration and supporting declarations, Parenting Proposed Parenting Plan, Child Support Worksheet, Financial Declaration, financial documents, and proposed orders, and providing advice and assistance with serving other party, delivering working copies, and explaining deadlines.  I may also attend your hearing at additional charge.
